We had a wonderful Easter yesterday! After breakfast we had Aiden look for his Easter basket that the bunny had hidden. He got some books, stickers, sidewalk chalk, cars and two trains. He enjoyed playing with his new cars and trains until my parents came over. After he opened their Easter basket we had him search for the hidden eggs. It was a gorgeous day, so most were hidden outside. He did a really good job for his first egg hunt. He stayed focused the entire time and would put each egg in the basket before he looked for the next one. We moved inside after he found all the eggs to find a few that were hidden in the house. He really enjoyed the eggs that had goodies hidden inside (especially jelly beans!). We also got him a wooden train set and gave that to him for Easter. I have been wanting to get one for a long time now, because we have been to a lot of stores that have them set up and he loves playing with them. My dad built us a wooden table to put the train on and it turned out great. We put the entire thing together while Aiden napped and he was in heaven when he woke up. After dinner we played with the sidewalk chalk took a walk in the neighborhood. It was such a great day that I was sad when it ended.
