Pumpkin Carving

We didn't get a chance to visit a pumpkin patch this year, but we visited a local farm market to get a few pumpkins. This was the first year we actually carved a pumpkin with Aiden (it is a lot harder than I remember). Aiden lost interest early on and chose to use markers on his little pumpkin. I was completely surprised by how good he did drawing a face!

Halloween Snow Day!

Well I never thought I would see snow before Halloween! Believe it or not, we got about 6-8 inches of snow the weekend before trick-or-treat. Of course, we weren't ready and had to run out to the store to find new boots and snow pants. Aiden did get to play in the snow, make snow angels, build his first snowman, catch snowflakes on his tongue and do a little sledding.

205-The Next Generation

Of the six roommates from 205 E. 4th Street in Bloomsburg, four of us now have children of our own.......ALL BOYS! A bunch of us got together this past weekend and it was the first time that all five boys got to play together. We attempted their first Halloween picture, but trying to get five kids age three and under to cooperate was a task all in itself. Don't worry boys, we'll get a good one some year!

Pumpkin Patch Party

Aiden's preschool held a Pumpkin Patch Party on Columbus Day in place of regular school. Luckily, Brian had off work that day as well and was able to attend with us. There was a lot of great activities like: make your own scarecrow mask, make your own pumpkin cookie, story time, bean bag toss, face painting and pick your own pumpkin. The school did a wonderful job and Aiden had so much fun!

Last day at Disney

Saturday was a sad day because we had to pack up and wait for the bus to the airport. We waited in the hotel cafe area and ate lunch before we had to head for the Magical Express to the airport. Don't worry Disney.......we'll be back!

Downtown Disney

We loved Downtown Disney! We had a wonderful dinner at Planet Hollywood one night and enjoyed all the wonderful shops. They have the largest Disney Store there and Aiden was able to make his own RC Mater at RideMakerz.

EPCOT

We went to EPCOT our last full day in Disney and Aiden was intrigued by the big "golf ball". It was raining on and off, but luckily most things we did there were indoors. We were bummed to find out that the Nemo ride and Turtle Talk with Crush were out of order all day, but it just gives us something to look forward to the next time we go. I actually rode Spaceship Earth for the first time ever with Brian and Aiden! By far, Aiden's favorite thing about EPCOT was the area outside of Imagination with the jumping waters. He definitely would have stayed there for hours if I would have let him! I must admit that they were a favorite of mine when I was little.
