Singing in the Rain

We found these fabulous Lightning McQueen rain boots and matching umbrella at The Disney Store. Aiden was patiently waiting for it to rain so he could splash in puddles. Lucky for him it was raining yesterday when we got home from NJ and we let him splash away for a few minutes before nap time.

Tub Time

Aiden loved MomMom and PopPop's tub with the glass doors! He thought it was fabulous that he could splash away and not get water on the bathroom floor. We actually had to set a timer so that he would get out, because he wanted to stay in the tub and play forever!

RideMakerZ

The Disney Store in The Cherry Hill Mall has this really cool thing called RideMakerZ. You get to pick the "body style" you want, the base (regular or remote controlled), the wheels and the tires. An associate helps you put the entire thing all together on a body shop style table and then announces to Radiator Springs (the customers in the store) that you have just made your very own car. There are four different McQueen styles, two Sally styles and two Mater styles. There are also a ton of accessories you can purchase to make your car more unique. Aiden went for regular McQueen, red shiny wheels and the white-wall tires. There are apparently only four stores that have this special Cars area, and I really wish we lived closer to one!

P.S. He looks unhappy in this picture, because he wasn't a fan of everyone in the store clapping for him. He does really enjoy the car!

Adventure Aquarium

We traveled to NJ this past weekend to spend some time with MomMom and PopPop Reif. On Saturday we all went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, and we had lots of fun. It was a gorgeous day in the high 60's with an occasional breeze. We went through the entire aquarium, but never stayed at one exhibit very long. Aiden kept saying "let's go see the next thing" and would continue walking. I think he would have watched the two sea lions all day. They were swimming all around and climbing on the rocks, and he thought it was great. Once we finally got home, he fell right asleep and took a really good nap!
