Week #3

So this is my first week home alone all day with Aiden and I must say that it's going pretty well. The days are wonderful.... he eats, plays a little at times and takes wonderful naps. On the other hand, the nights are not so wonderful. I know this is all normal for a newborn, but slightly stressful. I swear he knows it's night, because it takes Brian and I a good 2.5 hours to finally get him to go to sleep! We have moved him to his room, because he is a very loud sleeper and I swear this is his way of rebelling. Hopefully things will start to get better, but in the meantime I am up for any suggestions!

I love this face of his!

Oh my gosh is he cute. I see a lot of Brian in him right now. Sorry it's been rough at night...it's so hard getting a newborn into a good sleeping pattern. We used a white noise machine in Carter's room and that really seemed to help him sleep better.

"Home alone" takes on a new meaning, does it not? You sound quite confident; I cried when my mom left me with the three kids after a 3 month stay. Geez! Did I ever have it good, or what??? It is embarrassing to think of how little I truly appreciated that amazing gift of her time then, compared to now. Aiden's appearance has changed already, from cute to cuter. Brian must love to walk in the door at night. He WILL sleep at night; sometime, somewhere...promise! Love to the three of you! Aunt Margie

I know my cousin used a noise machine to help as well. Worth checking out!
