Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween

We got special tickets to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. The "party" started at 7pm and only people that purchased the tickets could be in the park. Throughout the park there were designated trick or treat areas and even the adults could get candy if they wanted. We didn't dress up, but everyone was in love with Aiden's Mickey Mouse costume. He even got extra candy on the way out because of his costume! All the characters in the park that night were dressed in their halloween costumes as well. They had a special halloween themed parade and fireworks. It was a great night in the park and we would definitely do it again!

Disney's Magic Kingdom

We spent a couple days at The Magic Kingdom since it had the most for Aiden. He was fascinated by the castle and wished he could go inside. It was decorated everywhere with fall colors and things for the special Halloween events. We made sure to hit all of the "must-do" rides like: It's A Small World, Tea Cups, Fast Track, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Astro Orbiter, Mickey's Philharmagic, and Big Thunder Mountain. They wouldn't let Aiden do Splash Mountain, so we'll do that next time! We also made sure we got good spots for the Electric Parade and the Wishes Fireworks.

We had dinner at Crystal Palace and Aiden met the characters from Winnie the Pooh. He was even lucky enough to lead the parade in the restaurant with Pooh holding his hand! He also got to ride the monorail for our character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. They had the BEST breakfast ever.....I would go back just for that! He was so excited to get the one-on-one time with each character as they came to the table while we ate.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

We got Animal Kingdom bright and early, because we wanted to get right on to the safari ride. We lucked out and didn't have a very long wait time. It was a perfect ride and we got to see a lot of animals. I think Aiden's favorite part was "digging for bones" in a play area. It was really hot that day and the play area was shaded and very cool, so we didn't mind hanging out there! We also had a character brunch at The Tusker House. This featured Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all dressed in safari outfits. Each character would stop at every table for autographs and photos and Aiden was in heaven (especially with Mickey).
