Happy 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Aiden's 3rd birthday on Monday. I took him to Hersheypark in the morning and then we went to dinner once Daddy got home from work. Aiden was able to pick the restaurant and out of everything, he chose Burger King. Mimi and PaPa joined us for dinner and then came back to the house for presents and cake. He got a workbench and real working tools (just like PaPa), a Buzz Lightyear scooter, Thomas the train MegaBlocks and a backpack for pre-school. He absolutely loved his Mickey cake and took a finger-full of icing out of all the trees before we could even cut it. He had a wonderful birthday.... I just wish the time wouldn't go so fast!

Cousins!

We spent this past weekend in NJ to help Ben celebrate his 5th birthday. Aiden had so much fun playing with all the cousins and was permanently attached to Lizzie's hip. I think all the kids had a blast with their mini dance party while waiting for guests to arrive at the party. The cousins even took a minute for a juice box break, and I took that opportunity to get a quick picture (of course there was no way I was going to get them all to look at once).

Three Year Pictures

I took Aiden on a wim to my old elementary school to attempt some three year old pictures. I had no idea what they would turn out like, but I am actually really happy with them.

It's Finished!

I found a great website and ordered a few things for the Power Wheels that is was missing. I got hood latches, seat-belts, a pretend key/ignition and some original stickers. I am so glad to see it completely finished and love that is cost so much less than a brand new one!

Hershey Children's Garden

Aiden, PaPa and I spent the morning at The Hershey Children's Garden/Butterfly House. I had never been there before and it was a total last minute decision. There was a nice breeze today, so I thought it would be nice to be outside. We all really enjoyed seeing the butterflies and matching them up with the pictures they give out. I also took a magnifying glass along for Aiden so he could get a real good look at everything!

Bug Lover

Aiden absolutely loves bugs! We found this cicada on Mimi and PaPa's porch today, and PaPa put it a jar. The poor thing was on it's last leg when we found it, but it came to life for a little and crawled up and down the branch. It is dead in the picture below, but Aiden still thinks it's the best thing ever!

Extreme Makeover: Power Wheels

We got this Power Wheels from our neighbors and it was still in good condition. It was working fine, but made a loud noise and of course it was Barbie pink. I got new gears for it and we gave it a Phillies paint makeover. It is just like new now, and Aiden loves it (can't steer it yet though).
