Fun weekend - Part II

On Sunday we traveled to Mt. Laurel, NJ for a Shane Victorino appearance. We left in the morning after Aiden got finished with his morning bottle. Shane was scheduled to be at Modell's from 3-5pm and we arrived at about 12:30 only to find out that there was already a line waiting. Brian decided to get in line while I fed Aiden again, but since I wasn't in line when they handed out tickets, they told Brian I wouldn't be able to come in with him. I decided that I didn't like that answer, so I talked to the manager and he was super nice and let me "hide out" in the nice warm store and until I saw Brian come in. We were lucky enough to have Mom-mom and Pop-pop Reif come over and get us lunch and keep us company. While I was waiting inside, I was talking with a women and telling her that I really wanted Shane to hold Aiden so I could get a picture. I found out later that her husband works with Shane and she peeked around the corner when we got to the table and asked Shane to hold the baby. After a long wait, it turned out to be a pretty awesome day!

Fun weekend - Part I

This past weekend we took a trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. I had never been there and neither have my parents, so we took them along. We didn't have the best directions, so let's just say it was an adventure getting there. Aiden did great though and slept the entire way! We had nice weather for the most part, just a little chilly at time in the shade.

New toy

I got this great new activity mat for Aiden with really bright color, music and flashing lights. The tiki hut in the background plays two 10-minute tunes, which is really helpful when trying to get things done. Aiden actually played content for about 30 minutes the other day when I was going through his clothing.

The good old days.....

Two weekends ago we all went to Haddon Heights, NJ for a community wide yard sale. When Brian's parents were going through things to get ready for the sale, they came across a bunch of the kids childhood memories. This is Brian and his brother Chris showing off their old school soccer jackets.

Philly sports

My husband is a huge fan of Philly sports, so obviously we have to start Aiden off real early in showing his support. Notice that he is a lot happier in the Phillies outfit rather than the Eagles (I would be too!)

Photo shoot

Brian and I decided to take Aiden to The Picture People for his first professional photos. I was greatly surprised with the outcome since it didn't look like anything good was going to come of the shoot. Of course the photos are copy-written, so I can't actually attach the pics. I know it's corny, but I took pictures of the pictures so I could share them with everyone.

Disclaimer: I know the quality looks poor, but believe me they look better in real life. I don't want The Picture People to get a bad reputation!

Better days

Thankfully I believe the Zantac is working for Aiden. He is not as cranky as he had been prior to starting the medicine and he is sleeping better. It is amazing how he continues to change everyday. Brian and I can't believe how much of a little "man" he is becoming.

He has returned to enjoying his swing and I am very thankful!
