Sacred Heart Festival-2012

Aiden won his first "carnival fish" this year at the festival. He was so excited to pick out which two he wanted and named them Nemo and Marlin. We actually had a lot of fun at the festival playing some games, doing bouncy houses and even riding a pony! Of course, we had to run to Walmart to get some essential supplies for our new pets. He was so happy with the finished product and they were the first thing he wanted to see this morning!

July 4th 2012

We went to my parent's house again this year for the 4th. The weather was beautiful and we had a full day of swimming! We enjoyed a picnic lunch on the deck, and got to relax at dinner and let Papa John's do all the work!! Aiden also enjoyed spending time with Paige and her daughter Lily! He got to have a sleepover, since Brian and I had to work the next day and my parents did not. They watched the local fireworks from my parent's front lawn in the comfort of jammies! What a wonderful day!

Smith Playground

After the aquarium, we picked up some lunch and headed over the Smith Playground in Philadelphia. We had a picnic and then it was play time! This is by far the best playground I have ever seen. Aiden had so much fun, but we could tell that the heat and no nap were getting to him. We played for awhile and then decided it was time to head home (Aiden actually napped in the car for like the first time ever!). We had such a wonderful weekend!

Camden Adventure Aquarium

Aiden was very good about the change in plans and was super excited Sunday morning when it was time to head over the aquarium. We have been here twice before and he loves the shark tunnel! He was also excited to see the stingray petting pool (wasn't as excited to touch them when we actually got there). We had a wonderful time and left with a stuffed stingray, hammerhead shark and a turtle!

Cooper River Park

Aiden has been fascinated by sharks lately, so we planned a weekend trip to Jersey to spend time with Mom-mom and Pop-pop and visit the aquarium. Little did we know, there was some huge event on the Camden Waterfront and traffic was awful! We had to postpone the aquarium until Sunday, but Pop-pop knew of a fun park nearby and we went there instead. We also got to have a delicious dinner at The Cheesecake Factory

Last day....

Today was Aiden's last day of preschool. He learned so much in this first year and I can't believe it's already over! He loved everything about Jack & Jill, especially his teachers Mrs. Lively and Mrs. Krall. Thanks to Pinterest, I found some fun end of the year gifts for his classmates and his teachers!

Best Friends

Aiden's pre-school had an end of school picnic and he was so happy that his "best friend" Gabby was there! They enjoyed the ventriloquist act together and even shared a cupcake!
